My name is Tracy Sinclair and I’m extremely proud to say I am the Head Teacher of this school.
We currently have 168 children across eleven classes with 43 children in our full time nursery.
Our school comprises, a main building housing 7 of our classes, with two modular buildings in the playground hosting a further four classrooms.
Our nursery sits within the school grounds but is separate with its own entrance systems.
I have been Head Teacher here since 2011, however I started here as a young probationer teacher and have been here working with our families since 1993. We are very much a family here.
Hopefully through this website you will gain a feeling from all stakeholders as to why our school would be the perfect choice for your child.
Our children are our joy and daily lift us with their positivity and manners. As staff, we model these behaviours and have genuine and honest affection for our young people.
Relationships are at the very heart of everything we do. Our children tell us that they feel safe and happy in school.
We promote relationships throughout the Tarradale family with lots of opportunities for the children to mix, play and fulfil leadership roles.
We regularly celebrate everything positive in our lives and actively create ways in which we can let our children shine.
We work with all shareholders to make sure developments are created with everyone’s voice involved.
As a school we have worked hand in hand with this initiative and continue to push this agenda to the next level of sustainability, mindfulness and global innovation for our children.
Our Sketchnote from Education Scotland outlines the journey we have been on in partnership with MOO Food. As a school we continue to grow, cultivate and cook using what we can find in all of the growing spaces and in the community fridge.
The last two years working within a pandemic has brought its challenges.
However as a team we have thrived and come out stronger than ever and ready now to push our children on to achieve great things.
We have concentrated fully on Literacy, Numeracy and Health and Wellbeing but are now widening out our curriculum to excite and enthuse our learners.
